Shun APC Membership Revalidation Excercise, NYDP Tells Youths, Submits Letter Of Intent To INEC

The Nigeria Youth Democratic Party (NYDP) has submitted its intent letter to be registered by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC)as a political party ahead of the 2023 general elections. Speaking with Newsmen at INEC headquarters in Abuja, National Chairman of the association, Barry Johnson who described the development as a bedrock to providing the Nigerian youths the full rights to participate in the reformation of the political foundation said the expectation is to emerge as the world biggest youth political movement across Africa. He however urged the electoral body to do the needful as enshrined in the laws governing the electoral process. Johnson who also used the opportunity to react on issues of national importance called on the youth population to shun the ongoing All Progressive Congress (APC) revalidation membership registration exercise. The Political association further identified the need for a level playing field for all political parties noting that it is a relevant gesture to building the confidence of the citizens on the electoral process.
