Acting Commandant General of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps Hillary Madi has officially resumed duties at the NSCDC headquarters in Abuja. Addressing the management and personnel of the Corps in Abuja, the new NSCDC Boss said it will no longer be business as usual as the Corps will be further strengthened for better performance. He said however charged them to work harder to meet the directive to curb the worrisome trend of pipeline vandalism and other crimes related to their mandate. The interface was however not without a word of commendation from the NSCDC Boss to the Personnel with a reminder of the need to do more. Hillary Madu was appointed acting Commandant General of the NSCDC after the expiration of the tenure of the former CG Abdullahi Gani on 17 January 2021.
