The results of the 2020 National Common Entrance Examination Results has been released. Receiving the results from the National Examination Council, NECO, in Abuja, the Minister of Education, Mallam Adamu Adamu said the national cut-off marks have been pegged at 142. He said three candidates from Anambra,Enugu and Lagos states got the highest score of 199,198 and 197 respectively. Earlier, the Registrar of NECO, Prof Godswill Obioma said a total of 70,580 candidates sat for the examination nationwide, out of which 24,416 candidates passed, scoring a minimum of 66. He further added that a total number of 16,713 candidates were absent from the examination due to the ENDSARS protests that rocked the country recently. Analysis from the results presentation indicates that the carrying capacity of the nation’s 110 unity schools stands at 26,625 for the 2020/2021 academic year.
