Retired Military Officers Donate 1500 Mosquito Nets To Kuje Prison

The 2019 World Malaria Report shows that Nigeria accounts for 25 percent of malaria cases globally.This life threatening disease caused by the bite of infected female anopheles mosquitoes is however preventable and curable. To also reduce the spread of malaria particular among the less privileged in the society, members of 27 regular course of the Nigeria Defence College while celebrating their 40years anniversary visited the kuje Correctional centre and donated 1500 treated mosquitoe nets as part of it’s humanitarian activities to the 935 inmates currently at the prison. =====Track Up==== =====Track up==== There was however a call for more aids to come to the inmates. ====Track up===== Members of the 27 regular course alumni association also stopped at DEPOWA, also donating 5 sewing machines and 5 hair dryers for widows of Soldiers.
