Following the presentation of video evidence by counsel to the Peoples Democratic Party and its candidate, Atiku Abubakar in the February 23rd presidential elections, counsel to President Muhammadu Buhari, Alex Izinyon, during the resumed hearing of the Presidential Elections Petition Tribunal, has tendered a video clip to support their claim on INEC’s position on the mode of transmission of election results, as well as discredit the claims of the PDP and Atiku. The clip, was an interview, the INEC Chairman, Mahmoud Yakubu granted to Channels Television before the February 23rd Presidential Election but failed to prove his admittance of transmitting results electronically from all parts of the country. Counsels to both President Buhari and INEC however submitted that the PDP and its Candidate failed to provide substantial evidence to prove their case.
