The Nigeria Military says 65 Terrorists commanders have been neutralized by troops across various theater operations in the third quarter of 2024.
Director, Defence Media Operations, Major General Edward Buba disclosed this at a press briefing on Military operations across the six geo-political zones of the Country at the Defence Headquarters (DHQ) in Abuja.
Gen. Buba further confirmed that 1,937 terrorists were eliminated, 2,786 others arrested and 1,854 hostages rescued in the period under review.
The DDMO also gave a breakdown of arms and ammunition recovered from the operations.
A review of military onslaughts across the theatres of operations was also presented at the briefing.
General Buba however indicated the resolve of the Defence high command to intensify the fight against terrorists and other criminal elements until the nation is rid of insecurity and related threats.
