Following its victory at the recent Edo State Governorship election, the All Progressives Congress, APC says its next target is Ondo and Anambra states. APC National Chairman, Abdullahi Ganduje disclosed this at the party’s National headquarters in Abuja while declaring the Edo State Election Situation Room close.
He said the party will continue its winning streak by adopting similar formula used in Edo State governorship election on the Ondo and Anambra State polls of November 16, 2024 and 2025 respectively.
It would be recalled that, the candidate of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC), Monday Okpebholo scored 291,667 votes to defeat his closest rival Asue Ighodalo of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) who scored 247,274 votes while the Labour Party candidate Olumide Akpata finished distance third on 22,763 votes.
