The Federal Government has released the results of the 2024 National Common Entrance Examination (NCEE) into Unity Colleges and Federal Government Academy (FGA), Suleja.
Minister of State for Education, Dr Tanko Sununu, disclosed this at a news conference in Abuja.
He said 71,291 candidates registered for the 2024 NCEE and 66,931 candidates sat for the examination, while 4,360 were absent.
Analysis of the results indicate that 52 candidates were involved in examination malpractice, while Lagos state tops with the highest number of candidates.
Sununu assured on the integrity of the examination and insisted that the admission criteria for selection of qualified candidates into Federal Unity Colleges will be maintained.
2,336 candidates sat for this year’s edition of NCEE on June 1, 2024 in Nigeria, Benin Republic and Togo.
