Housing Deficit: Group To Partner FG On Affordable Homes.
A real estate developer has indicated plans to collaborate with the federal government to tackle the country’s 28 million housing deficit.
This is as vice president, Senator Kashim Shettima at a recent ceremony in Sokoto state said over 21 trillion naira is required to build 28 million houses to bridge Nigeria’s housing deficit.
Speaking at a road show Organised in Abuja, the Chief executive officer of T-Pumpy Real Estate, Aduralegbe Akintayo lamented the growing number of homeless people in the country and indicated commitment to change the narrative.
The company further highlighted some of its intervention targeted to make the less privileged in Abuja and environs property owners.
The roadshow which started from the Wuse district Abuja terminated at Kubwa, a suburb in the federal capital territory.
