A cross section of Nigerians in the nation’s capital, Abuja have condemned the All Progressives Congress led government for its insensitivity on workers plight.
This was disclosed to Channel Network Afrique, CNA while feeling people’s pulse on the ongoing industrial action by the Nigeria Labour Congress and the Trade Union Congress.
They said despite the hard economic situation faced by most Nigerians as a result of hash policies, the government is still not interested in alleviating the suffering.
Some also expressed dismay over the proposed sixty thousand naira new minimum wage offer by the federal government despite the low purchasing power of the naira.
They were however, optimistic that the Federal Government will come up with a tangible offer to the workers that will be commissural with the current economic realities.
