The Nigerian government is to construct about 250 cattle ranches across the country. The initiative is part of plans to checkmate the incessant farmers-herders clashes, which have plagued the nation in recent times. Commandant General of the Nigerian Security and Civil Defence Corps, (NSCDC) Abdullahi Gana disclosed this while delivering the opening remarks at the decoration of newly promoted officers of the the NSCDC, at its headquarters in Abuja.
