The center was built for the training of teachers on digital education in Nigeria. The lawmaker said the amendment bill will enable UBEC to meet it’s set objectives especially as it relates to addressing the ills of the basic school system.

On the digital resource center built by the UBEC, Hon Useni said it will bring a new approach to basic basic education in Nigeria.

In his remarks, the Executive Secretary of UBEC, Dr Hameed Bobboyi said the center is an effort to move digital education in Nigeria to the next level, stressing that it was gladdening to have taken the House Committee members on a tour of the facilities of the center, which includes: the digital Museum, Library, Artificial Intelligence Center, the Studio, Micro-labs, lecture halls, accommodation among others.

The Digital Resource Center is an effort to transform UBEC into a digital era.
