The National Bureau of Statistics has stated that its ongoing research on corruption will go a long wan in tackling corruption related issues in the country. The survey, which is the second of its kind, will be focusing on the quality and integrity of the Nigerian Public Service. Speaking at a press briefing in Abuja, representative of the Statistician General of the Federation and Project Director, Ishaku Olarewaju, hinted that while the survey seeks to get the perceptions of Nigerians on the trends and patterns of corruption, the bureau has far advanced beyond the use of analogue equipment for data collation and observation.
