The Leadership of the Petroleum Tanker Drivers Union (PTD) has appealed to it’s members against plans to embark on nationwide strike as efforts are on to resolve the leadership crisis rocking the union.
The National Chairman of Petrol Tankers Drivers, Comrade Lucky Osesua made the appeal at a press briefing in Abuja.
He urged members of the Union to resists antics to divide the PTD but work within it’s objectives for seamless delivery of petroleum products to all states and locations across the country.
Comrade further called on the National Leadership of the union both past and present to come together and find lasting solutions to the issues of disputes.
The PTD only recently has been engulfed in crisis linked to the incarceration of its National Chairman and deputy by the police, over alleged assault on the president of NUPENG, Comrade Williams Akporeha..
