Kogi Polls: Youths Storm INEC, Warn ‘Election Robbers’ Against Challenging Result.

Some Youths of Kogi State have thrown their weight behind the Independent National Electoral Commission for conducting a free, fair and Credible Elections that declared the All Progressives Congress Candidate, Usman Ododo winner of the November 11th, 2023 polls.

The Youths who marched in their hundreds to INEC headquarters in Abuja in solidarity with the Commission declared their utmost confidence in the umpire.

They also affirm their support for the Kogi State Governor-elect, Usman Ododo as they warned mischief makers in the state under the guise of opposition parties to desist from challenging the declaration.

While others vowed to remain at the INEC headquarters for as long as the action was needed for Kogi State is united and not divided.

Responding, INEC Resident Electoral Commissioner, Alkali Abubakar assured that the Commission will continue to operate inline with its constitution an will not waiver in delivering its responsibility at all times.

The Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC declared Usman Ododo of the All Progressives Congress as the Governor-elect of Kogi State, having won the governorship poll with a total of 446,237 votes to defeat other candidates.
