The Defence headquarters has warned against any plans by mischievous persons to disrupt the off season elections in Imo, Kogi and Bayelsa States.
The Director, Defence Media Operations, Major General Edward Buba who gave the warning at a news conference in Abuja aimed to update Nigerians on the recent strides recorded by the Armed Force said they are aware of plans by some persons to disguise in military apparel to disrupt the electoral process.
He however, warned of severe consequences if they do not desist from the ploy.
Gen Buba also noted that over 100 terrorist were neutralized as about 300 of them were arrested while 91 kidnapped hostages were rescued among other achievements recorded wethin the period under review.
He further assured that the armed forces will continue to exert military pressure on groups that seek to derail any progress towards the peace and security of the country.
