Nigeria 2019 Budget Breakdown, We Did Not Do Enough In 2018 – Udoma
Following the assent to the 2019 appropriation bill by President Muhammadu Buhari few days to the commencement of his second term tenure, the Minister of Budget and National planning, Udoma Udo Udoma has presented the details of the 2019 Budget tagged Budget of continuity . Analysis of the 8.91 trillion naira budget includes oil revenue of #3.69 tn, Non-Oil Revenue of #3.31tn, Fiscal Deficit of #1.92tn, Statutory transfer of #502bn, Sinking fund of #100bn, debt service of #2.144tn, Recurrent Expenditure of #4.07tn and MDA’s Capital Expenditure of #2.09tn. Udoma however, noted that President Buhari will effectively engage the leadership of the 9th National Assembly to ensure a smooth Budget process in 2019.
