The Member, representing Lavun mokwa and Edati Federal Constituency, in the House of Representatives Dr Joshua Gana has raised concerns over the implications of the subsidy removal and made case for adequate paliative measures to cushion the effects on the people.
The lawmaker said this at an interactive session with the media as part of activities to celebrate his inauguration as a member of the 10th National Assembly.
Dr Gana advocated need for the National Assembly to swing into Immediate action through adequate legislations that will enable the President TINUBU administration tackle key challenges in the nations economy.
On his part the Father of the Lawmaker and former Minister of Information and National Orientation, Prof Jerry Gana expressed gratitude for his son’s victory and urged him alongside other members of the 10th House of Representatives to work with the federal government to make Nigeria great again.
As expected, dignitaries from across the country were on ground to share in the joy of the Gana family.
Hon Joshua Gana will in the next four years represent the people of Lavun mokwa and Edati Federal Constituency of Niger state in the House of Representatives.
