Nigerian Government Inaugurates Committee For Seamless Delivery Of New National Minimum Wage.

One month after president Muhammadu Buhari signed the new minimum wage into law, there are indications that workers would have to wait a while before benefiting from the policy. This is as the federal government government inaugurated a Presidential Technical Advisory Committee to augment the implementation of the new wage. Delivering his remarks at the inauguration ceremony of the committee, the Secretary to the Government if the Federation, Boss Mustapha said their mandate includes negotiating the consequential adjustments in salaries arising from the new national minimum wage, among others.
