The Minister of Police Affairs, Mohammad Dingyadi says he is leaving behind a police force reformed to fight crime and other related statutory duties.
Dingyadi disclosed this in Abuja at a valedictory ceremony put together by the Police Affairs ministry in his honour.
The outgoing Minister applauded President Buhari for his support in the various reform’s in the nations security architecture saying the the Police Force is now better off especially in terms of infrastructures, facilities and logistics.
The Minister further used the occasion to reeled out the successes of the police on combating Banditry, kidnapping and other security related challenges.
The high point of the event, was the official handling over of the affairs of the police Affairs ministry to the permanent secretary, Abel Enitan and commissioning of a 14 seater bus by the Minister for the staff of ministry.
