The Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) has appointed Dr. Isa Abdulmumin as the Acting Director, Corporate Communications Department.
Until his appointment, Dr Abdulmumin was a Deputy Director, in the Corporate Communications Department of the apex bank.
He takes over from Mr. Osita Nwanisobi, who has retired from the CBN.
Dr. Abdulmumin fondly called “Baba Kabiru” by Finance Correspondents has been a dedicated staff member of the Central Bank of Nigeria for several years.
He is known for his humility, brilliance, dedication, commitment, efficiency, professionalism to work as well as high level diplomacy to get things done in a good time.
His predecessor, Nwanisobi, took over in October 2020 when Mr. Isaac Okorafor, retired meritoriously from service.
