The mastermind of the Abuja – Kaduna train attack of 28th march 2022 has been arrested by troops of operation Whirl punch.
Director, Defence Media Operations, Major General Musa Danmadami who disclosed this at a media briefing to update Nigerians on the Armed forces strides said the feat was achieved when troops responded to information on the presence of Boko Haram Terrorists/Islamic State of West Africa Province kingpins at Damba community in Chikun Local Government Area of Kaduna State.
Gen Danmadami also indicated how troops operating in the North East zone neutralized 27 terrorists and arrested 18 Boko Haram Terrorist/Islamic State of West Africa Province terrorists logistics suppliers, spies and informants at different locations within the theatre of Operations.
Luck also ran out of 18 members of the Indigenous People of Biafra/Eastern Security Network who were neutralized by troops in Anambra state.
The military high command commended the troops for their resilience and solicited the support and cooperation of the public on the activities of terrorists and other criminal elements in their areas.
