Ahead of Saturdays general election,a coalition of Civil Society Groups have adopted the candidacy of former Kano state Governor and presidential candidate of the New Nigeria People’s Party Musa Kwakwanso for President.
At a news conference in Abuja, Spokesperson of the Coalition, Bishop Godwin Abah said they zeroed on the NNPP candidate after meticulous assessment on leading presidential candidates including their antecedents and democratic credentials in the quest for a strong, united, progressive and prosperous Nigeria.
He said Kwakwanso is the only presidential candidate that campaigned across various states by road projecting people oriented projects and programmes that will alleviate poverty in Nigeria.
The coalition further indicated reasons why the candidate of the People’s Democratic party Atiku Abubakar should quit the presidential race and support their principal.
They called on Nigerians to come out enmass on Saturday and vote for the NNPP and ensure their votes are counted and as well reflect in the overall result.
