The Coalition of United Political Parties, CUPP, has called on President Muhammadu Buhari, the National security adviser and other relevant security agencies to stop the carnage in Imo state.
The spokesperson, CUPP, Ikenga Ugochinyere made the call at a news conference in Abuja.
Ugochinyere who reacted to the recent attack on his ideato country home in Imo state alleged the complicity of the state government.
He said the aim of the attack was to silence him from making further exposures on plans to rigg the 2023 general elections.
Ugochinyere who is the PDP House Representative Candidate for Ideato Federal constituency in this month’s general election wondered why suspects were yet to be charged to court 2 weeks after the attack that left four persons dead.
The CUPP spokesman further revealed how high grade explosives were used during the attack in which over 32 vehicles, motorcycles and other properties valued at N550 million were burnt.
