The Nigeria Christian Pilgrim Commission (NCPC), has airlifted over 300 intending pilgrims mostly from Delta and Akwa Ibom States to the Holy land of Israel and Jordan under the Commission’s fourth batch of December 2022 Pilgrimage Exercise.
Addressing the Pilgrims at the Nnamdi Azikiwe international Airport in Abuja, the Executive Secretary, NCPC, Rev Yakubu Pam said the commission will continue to advance the cause of Christian Pilgrimage in Nigeria as well as serve as a tool for social cohesion.
Rev. Pam did not mince words as he admonished the intending pilgrims to shun abscoundment and ensure they abide by the rules and standards of the commission.
Some officials of the commission in their remarks urged the intending pilgrims to pray for the country and conduct themselves properly and decently while in the Holy Land.
The Commission further commended the Governor of Delta State, Ifeanyi Okowa for always taking the lead in the sponsorship of Christians to the Holy Land and urged other state Governors to also do the needful.
