As part of plans to achieve a successful 2023 Census, the National Population Commission NPC has disclosed plans to compile a compendium of localities expected to be presented to local government area stakeholders.
NPC Chairman, Hon Isa Kwarra gave the indication while declaring open a workshop for presentation of the compendium for localities in Ado, Nasarawa State.
Kwarra who said the workshop entails compilation of all the localities demarcated during the Enumeration Area Demarcation, said it will be implemented on local government area basis, showing the coverage and location on interactive maps.
Earlier, the federal commissioner in charge of Cartography, Chiso Dattijo, assured of a hitch free compilation process.
The compendium is expected to be presented to President Muhammadu Buhari before the 2023 Population and Housing Census. End.
