Ahead of the 2023 general election, the African Democratic Congress ADC seems to be engulfed in leadership crisis with some of it’s members rooting for the head of the National Chairman, Ralph Nwosu.
This is evident by the body language of the party’s states chairman indicating that the ADC National Working Committee NWC has overstayed it’s relevance and should be dissolved to pave for a caretaker committee.
This however was not without a mild drama at the ADC National Secretariat in Abuja as security operatives allegedly prevented the aggrieved chairmen from gaining access into the Secretariat to attend the party’s National Executive Committee.
Speaking to journalists, the man in the eye of the storm, ADC National Chairman, Ralph Nwosu who is being accused of piloting the affairs of the party for seventeen years said the decision of NEC on the issue suggests danger in leadership change especially with few weeks to the presidential election campaigns.
The Chairman further accused the aggrieved state Chairmen of being sponsored to cause crisis in the party threatening to expose how money exchanged hands among them.
