The Premises of the federal ministry of Transportation Abuja was a beehive of activities early hours of Monday as relatives of the victims of Abuja-Kaduna train attack barricaded the ministry and it’s surroundings calling for the release of their loved ones.
Recall that 61 person’s on the ill- fated Kaduna bound train were abducted by bandits on 28 march,2022 at katari village, Kaduna state.
The mass action may have been prompted by the video recently released by the bandits Wearing sad looks indicating the pain they feel inside, the family members of the Abductees all spoke in one voice, soliciting more commitment and action from the federal government.
Aisha Musa who spoke on their behalf, said they would continue with the mass action until their demands are met.
As expected, the minister of Transportation, Mu’azu Jaji was on ground to receive them, just as he restated the federal government unwavering commitment to rescue the Abductees.
The development is coming barely 24 hours the bandits were seen in a released video manhandling the victims.
