The Kogi State Governorship election is eight months away but the race for who occupys the Lord Lugard’s house has commenced. This is as Mustapha Audu, the son to later former Kogi State Governor Abubakar Audu and winner of the 2015 election before his sudden death has indicated his intention to contest the state Governorship election schedule to take place in November 2019. Mustapha who will run under the platform of the Young Progressive Party at a stakeholders meeting in Lokoja, promised to turnaround the economic fortunes of the confluence state if elected.
