NPTF Trains 300 Police School Teachers In Abuja.

300 Commandant’s and staff of the Force Education Unit of the Nigeria Police Force are participating in a 4 day training and re training workshop organised by the Police Trust Fund.

The training is aimed at boosting the operational capacity of the Police Officers in other to tackle the security challenges in the country as well as secure the welfare of the teachers.

Speaking at the opening ceremony in Abuja, the Minister of Police Affairs Mohammed Dingyadi, applauded the gesture and urged the participants to make the most of it.

Represented by the Director of Legal at the ministry, Omowolabi Bolaride, the Minister restated optimism that the exercise will produce more competent Police personnel that will compete with their counterparts in the world stage.

The Representative of the Inspector General of Police, Usman Alkali, assured that the Force will continue work tirelessly to ensure the security and welfare of it’s teachers.

Meanwhile, the Executive Secretary of the Nigeria Police Trust Fund (NPTF) Abdullahi Bala represented by the Director Training and Welfare, DCP Felix Obem, highlighted the gains of the initiative which he noted was captured in the 2021 budget of the the NPTF.

The participants were drawn from all the Police children schools and training colleges across the country.
