Over three million, one hundred thousand companies have so far been registered by the Nigeria’s Corporate Affairs Commission since its creation by the act of the parliament. The CAC Acting Registrar General Lady Azuka Azinge, who disclosed this at the agency’s customers’ and Stakeholders Forum in Abuja, said the Commission successfully registered over six hundred and eighteen thousand companies in the last three years. She said the firms and companies were registered under Limited Liability Company, business names and incorporated trustee, adding that about two hundred and forty nine thousand companies were registered under Limited Liability Company while close to three hundred and twenty thousand firms were registered under business names in the same period.
