Breaking: INEC Reschedules Collation And Announcement Of Rivers State Governorship Election Results.

In recent times,elections in rivers state have been characterized by acts of violence. The situation is nothing different in the march 9th Governorship poll in the state prompting the suspension of collation of results generated from 17 out of the 23 local government councils by the independent National Electoral Commission. The Commission further set up a fact finding commitee to access the situation in the oil rich state and report back within forty eight hours. Having gone through the committee report, the Inec national Commissioner in charge of voter education and publicity,Festus Okoye at a press conference in Abuja made the following declaration.
