This may not be the best of time for the former National Chairman of the All Progressive Congress APC, Adams Oshiomhole as some persons within the ranks of the party are bent on ensuring his senatorial ambition does not see the light of the day.
According to their leader, Solomon Evowa, the decision to protest at the APC National Secretariat Abuja was to draw the attention of the party’s Leadership to a pending litigation against the non eligibility of the former Governor to run for the Edo North Senatorial seat.
The development which is coming few days the former APC Chairman withdrew from the 2023 presidential race, Evowa noted is to ensure the right thing is done for the people of Edo North Senatorial district.
Comrade Oshiomhole is among the 351 Senatorial aspirants screened last Saturday by the party for a ticket to contest the Edo North senatorial election by the APC screening committee.
