The National Women Leader of the New Nigerian People’s Party, NNPP, Dr Maryam Yasin says the over 7 years administration of the All Progressive Congress APC has brought poverty and insecurity to the doorsteps of Nigerians.
Dr Yasin who gave the indication at s meeting with state and zonal women leaders of the NNPP in Abuja said the youths as a result of bad governance have resorted to drugs out of frustrations.
The women leader who reeled out several indices suggesting that the APC government has betrayed the trust of Nigerians however noted that all hope is not lost as the NNPP is determine to provide a better deal.
Speaking further, Dr Yasin faulted the decision by the ruling party to sell it’s presidential expression of interest and nomination forms at 100 million naira and urged the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission to do the needful.
She urged Nigerians to join the NNPP saying it’s vision and manifestos are tailored towards a new order of governance where the lives of every citizens counts.
