Seated in this hall are top government functionaries including other Nigerians that have distinguished themselves in their respective endeavors. It is the occasion of the 2019/2020 combined award ceremony organised by media Group, Thinkers Commutations. Welcoming the guests including the representative of vice president Prof Yemi Osinbajo, Chairman of Thinkers Magazine, Alhaji Auwal Muazu described the ceremony as a product of rigorous painstaking competitive process. He said that despite the numerous national challenges facing the nation,some individuals and organisations have remained focus in their efforts at galvanizing resources to make Nigeria a better place, hence the decision to celebrate them. Meanwhile, former President Good- luck Jonathan,Governor’s Umaru Fintiri of Adamawa state, Abdullahi Ganduje Kano, Inuwa Yahaya Gombe and many other personalities were recipients of the award. For the Governor of Adamawa state represented by the Commissioner of Information, Dr Umar Pella, the recognition will spur him to deliver more democratic dividends in the north east state amidst security threats. The role of Communication and Digital Economy in addressing security challenges and promoting national growth and development was the theme of the occasion.
