There is no doubt, Nigeria has daunting challenges in the Water, Sanitation and Hygiene Sector. This is as report from the United Nations Children Education Fund indicates that 116 million Nigerians lack decent Toilets. Also, 110 million Nigerians don’t have access to hand washing facilities including 40 million others who still practice open Defecation. The good news however is that Nigeria more than ever before is poised to make giant strides in addressing it’s sanitation challenges through engagements with its private sector partners. The urban sanitation dessemination workshop in Abuja is one of such intervention.
