Uniabuja To Host 56th Annual NALT Conference, AI,Legal Reform Top Agenda.
Preparations have been concluded for the 56th Annual National Conference of the Nigerian Association of Law Teachers (NALT), scheduled to take place in Abuja from October 26 to 30, 2025.
The conference, which will attract law teachers, jurists, and policymakers from across the country, will focus on the theme: “Law, National Development and Economic Sustainability in a Globalized World.”
Addressing a pre-conference press briefing in Abuja, the Conference Chairman and Dean of the Faculty of Law at the University of Abuja, Professor Uwakwe Abugu, described the gathering as a bold initiative by legal scholars to provide innovative legal perspectives to some of Nigeria’s most urgent developmental issues.

The four-day forum will feature keynote addresses from senior academics, judges, and policymakers, as well as plenary sessions, paper presentations, and panel discussions. Topics will include artificial intelligence, biotechnology, environmental law, and other emerging areas of legal relevance.
