UBEC, NAF Strengthen Ties To Boost School Safety, Education Quality.
The Universal Basic Education Commission (UBEC) and the Nigerian Air Force (NAF) have signaled a new phase of collaboration aimed at improving school safety across the country.
This followed the courtesy visit of the Chief of Air Staff, Air Marshal Sunday Kelvin Aneke, to the UBEC headquarters in Abuja.
In her address, the Executive Secretary of UBEC, Dr. Aisha Garba described the visit as deeply meaningful, stating that the task of ensuring every Nigerian child has access to quality basic education is a responsibility that requires collective action.

The UBEC boss reaffirmed UBEC’s readiness to deepen cooperation with the Nigerian Air Force towards improving education outcomes and strengthening national stability.

The Air Force is seeking partnership with UBEC in areas such as access to intervention funds, inclusion of NAF teachers in UBEC development programs, digital transformation , the establishment of smart schools, and collaboration with UBEC’s quality assurance teams.
