The Minister of Foreign Affairs Yusuf Maitama Tuggar has won Nigeria’s prestigious award for 2024 as the most outstanding performing Minister of the year.
The award was conferred on the Minister by the Coalition of Registered Civil Society Organisation in Nigeria in Abuja.
Speaking, the President of the group, Comrade Opuama Joseph said the award is aimed at encouraging good governance. He highlighted some of the Minister’s achievements that earned him the award.
Accepting the award on behalf of the Minister, the Director overseeing the office of the Permanent Secretary, Ambassador, Nkem Charles, assured that more policies would be implemented to strengthen the country’s position among comity of nations.
The Minister however, appreciated the group for their gesture.
