Soludo Seeks Intervention Projects For Anambra Tertiary Institutions.

Governor of Anambra state, Chukwuma Soludo has called for strategic partnership with the Tertiary Education Trust Fund (TETFund) in the delivery of intervention projects in higher institutions of learning in the state. 

Soludo, who made the call during a courtesy visit on the Executive Secretary, TETFund, Arc. Sonny Echono in Abuja, said such collaboration would ensure TETFund’s projects become more impactful in the state.

  He commended TETFund for its various intervention projects across the country, adding that the state three owned tertiary institutions are eager to welcome more of such gesture Soludo however raised concern over the growing number of tertiary institutions in the country, saying government might find it difficult to adequately fund them in the future. 

In his response, Arch. Echono said the Fund will continue to do it’s best especially in the area of infrastructure and academic content development. 

Noting that TETFund has put in place mechanisms through specialised training to ensure Nigerian graduates are easily employable, Echono over over 35,000 academic staff have been trained in Masters and PHD’s.
