Royal Father Advocates Inclusion Of Traditional Rulers, Institution In Nigeria’s Constitution

The Shehu of Bama, Umar Kyari Umar is advocating for traditional rulers to be included in Nigeria’s constitution to enable royal fathers have legal backing. He made this known in Abuja at the conclusion of a two day conference on peace and nation building which brought stakeholders from all works of life for a way forward in bringing lasting peace in the Country. The royal father also called on government to improve the quality of education in the country to check any form of crime and act of terrorism. The Country Director, Standtall Africa Initiative, Emmanuel Ogah who is also the convener of the event said, there is need to compliment government’s efforts in building the country.
