Pension Transitional Arrangement Directorate (PTAD) has re-emphasised its commitment to ensure that quality policies are formulated and adopted to support the existing ones in order to meet the present realities of pension administration in the country.
The Executive Secretary, Chioma Njikeme who disclosed this at the opening of a one-day capacity building for Abuja based Editors and Pension Correspondents said the welfare of the pensioners is top on her priority.
Represented by the Director, Customs, Immigration and Prisons Pension Department, Abdallah Abubakar, the Executive Secretary said the agency is doing everything within its mandate to resolve all pending issues.
Resource persons took turn to highlight challenges faced by the agency as well as steps taken to resolve it.
Over ninety two thousand pensioners from two hundred and sixty five agencies are captured in the data base of PTAD.
