As part of their drive to harness talent hunt for Nigerian children, the Police Officers Wives Association is initiating an annual IGP Quiz Competition. At a ceremony to unveil the initiative in Abuja, President of POWA Hajara Alkali Baba described the competition as part of her agenda to engage the youth population positively. She however solicited the support of Nigerians in making the competition a success. The ceremony attracted key partners to the POWA project who in their remarks commended the initiative saying said it will complement various government policies targeted at taking the youths off the Streets. The Quiz competition is expected to run for a period of twelve weeks after which prospective winners will be awarded prizes and scholarships.
