Post COVID-19: Ehinare Tasks African Nations On Resilient Health Systems.

The Minister of Health, Dr osagie Ehinare has called for a new public order in Africa that is resilient, adoptable and ready to cope with any disease threat.

Ehinare who stated this while delivering an address at the ongoing National Council on Health meeting in Abuja, said most nations health systems were yet to recover from challenges rising from the outbreak of the Covid 19 pandemic.

He said the new public health order will help African nationsm to respond positively to future emergencies and also build a strong resilient health system with best line of defence against pandemics and any public health challenges.

Meanwhile,the minister of state for health, Joseph Ekumankama, and other key stakeholders who spoke at the conference harp on the need to reposition the nations health systems to achieve universal health coverage and sustainable development goals 2030 is key for the sector.
