Ahead of the Governorship Election in Osun State, a committee set up by the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP to reconcile aggrieved members in the state has submitted its report to the party’s National Working Committee.
Receiving the report at the PDP National Secretariat in Abuja, the acting National Chairman, Umar Damagun commended the committee for a job well done. He also tasked the stakeholders in the state putting the interest of the party above their personal interest.
The Chairman of the PDP Osun State Reconciliation Committee Eyitayo Jegede noted that the committee was able to extract the commitment of the warring factions that having a united front will enable the party win the election. The Osun State governorship election is slated to hold on July 16, 2022 with several governorship candidates seeking to unseat the incumbent governor Adegboyega Oyetola of the ruling All Progressives Congress.
