The federal government has urged Nigerians especially the young population to take advantage of the nation’s big market and explore their creative abilities. Minister of Science and Technology, Dr Ogbonnaya Oni gave the indication when he played host to a 30 years old Nigerian car designer Hawal Hassan in Abuja. He said the gesture will complement existing efforts and policies at boosting the nation’s economy as well creating jobs for its teeming population. Welcoming the 30 years old car designer who hails from Jamaare local government area of Bauchi state to his office, Dr Onu assured him of the ministry’s support to further improve on his car design. Earlier, Malam Hawal Hassan in his remarks, expressed gratitude for the privilege of being recognized by the ministry of science and technology. Highpoint of the visit was a short test drive of the two seater car with special features that includes approximately 50km per hour speed level, 5 gears transmission, 6 horse power petrol engine among others.
