National Leader of the New Nigeria Peoples Party, NNPP and former Governor of Kano state, Senator Rabiu Kwankwaso says the Party will win the 2027 presidential elections if the process is free and fair.
Kwankwaso who gave the indication at the 8th National Executive Council meeting of the party held in Abuja, expressed dismay at the handling of the nations economy by the All Progressives Congress, APC-led federal government.
Citing the worrying state of poverty, insecurity, infrastructural decay among other challenges the country, Kwankwaso urged Nigerians to give the NNPP opportunity to change the narratives.
The former NNPP presidential candidate in the 2023 presidential election also spoke on the internal crisis rocking the party insisting that efforts are on to resolve the differences and reposition the party.
On his part, the Governor of Kano state, Abba Yusuf represented by his deputy Abdulsalam Gwarzo highlighted some of the state government intervention, an indication he said is targeted at improving the lives of people in the state.
The NEC meeting which approved the appointment of a caretaker committee for the Oyo State chapter for six months until a substantive executive is put in place was attended by National Working Committee (NWC) members, lawmakers, commissioners, and party representatives from across the country
