President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has declared that Nigeria’s overall prosperity is inseparable from the future of Northern Nigeria.
Speaking through the Minister of Finance and Coordinating Minister of the Economy, Mr. Wale Edun, at the Northern Nigeria Investment and Industrialization Summit in Abuja, President Tinubu emphasized the importance of unlocking the region’s vast natural resources to drive national development.
According to the President, the federal government is currently implementing key industrialization projects targeted at the Northern region, with the goal of enhancing productivity and creating millions of job opportunities.

On his part, the Chairman of the occasion and Governor of Zamfara State, Dauda Lawal, urged the 19 Northern state governors to unite in addressing the persistent insecurity plaguing the region.

Similarly, the Convener of the Northern Elders Forum (NEF), Professor Ango Abdullahi, represented by retired Air Marshal Alamin Daggash, noted that one of the key obstacles to industrial growth in the North is the lack of critical infrastructure
