Nigeria’s Non-Export Hits $5.5bn In 2024 – NEPC
The Nigerian Export Promotion Council, NEPC, said the country recorded over $5.5 billion from non-oil exports in the year 2024. Executive Director, NEPC, Nonye Ayeni, disclosed this at a news conference in Abuja.
The NEPC boss while attributing the increased production to energy, agricultural, and solid mineral sectors said despite the present economic realities and global economic downturn, the council through collaborative efforts with other government agencies recorded the huge.
She further identified Cocoa Beans, Urea-Fertilizer and Sesame Seeds as major contributors to the total non-oil export.
She however, noted that the Council in the year under review empowered about twelve thousand, six hundred and sixty five women, youth and less privilege through its Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises, MSME, clinics.
