Nigeria Congratulates New Bangladeshi Foreign Minister, Seeks Enhanced Bilateral Ties

The Federal Government of Nigeria has formally congratulated Dr. Khalilur Rahman following his appointment as the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh.

​In a statement signed by the Ministry’s spokesperson Kimiebi Ebienfa, the Honourable Minister, Ambassador Yusuf Maitama Tuggar, OON, extended his “warmest congratulations” to his Bangladeshi counterpart. The Ministry expressed optimism that Dr. Rahman’s leadership would mark a pivotal chapter in the diplomatic history between the two nations.

  • Technology & Capacity Building: Leveraging shared expertise for human capital development.

​”We are confident that under Dr. Rahman’s distinguished leadership, the bonds of friendship and cooperation between our two nations will be further strengthened and expanded,” the statement concluded.
